Quirky operation.

Has a number of quirky habits. It takes too long to fire up.
Occasionally needs rebooting.
Occasionally comes up with weak signal when the signal is perfectly ok for other sources.
Can hear the hard disk working even when not using the box.

Good product, less good manuals

The product itself seems excellent, but the manuals (electronic & printed) leave something to be desired. You may have to use a bit of trial and error.

Very pleased with the new box, bit of a change from my last one, which until recently had been very reliable. The update of the tech is very obvious and when Igot used to the changes I have found it very good and am very pleased. The considerable saving over 'big name' suppliers was also very welcome. All round a very good deal.

Good value but HDD is noisy.

Records and replays reliably but the hard drive is a bit noisy. It is limited by having only two tuners but is good value.

Not fit for purpose

After nearly two hours of trying to connect to the internet I finally came to the conclusion that the product was faulty.

Cannot be set up without internet connection

Cannot be set up without an internet connection. It should work with DVB-T antenna out of the box. Very bad design and useless without internet connection.
Pass through TV antenna doesn't work either, so TV won't work.Read full review
