Excellent value for money & works well (mostly)
It works just like the old Humax one. The only slight problem is the the power button can get stuck under the casing. The PVR light then flashed like mad and the other buttons don't work. Fortunately it's very easy to release it. It just took us a bit to discover what was causing the problem.Read full review

Although I was initially very pleased, the device has started to fail (i.e. become unreliable) after a couple of months of use. The problem is most likely with poor battery contacts.

Functional and at a good price too .
After months of struggling with the old original remote controller - it is great to have instant control of the Humax and TV again . Clearly, the old one , about 6 years old , had some faulty buttons , hence the problems we were having . Now, everything is good except we haven't learnt how to actually switch the TV On or OFF with it , and so we use the TV's own remote to do this - but , we can live with this .Read full review

This copy remote is a perfect replacement for my original humax remote. There was no need to programme it. Although it has a slightly different feel and layout it works just as well and doesn't have a clicking noise each time you press a key. It was great value compared to an original humax remote. The product wasn't cheap ... the cost of the remote control would have gone a significant way towards a brand new Hard Drive Recorder! However, we've always got on with our Humax & didn't feel we wanted to change it yet, so when the buttons stopped working on the the remote control, we were glad of the opportunity to replace it. Replacement controler for the Humax
This replacement which is about half the price of the original seems to perform better than the original. It performs the same functions although some of the buttons are placed differently.
