When Good Very Good when Bad Absolutly Awful.
When Humbrol Paints are good they are very good and you can achieve some fantastic effects with them. But occasionally you'll get one that's not up to standard and can spoil an entire model.
They can be so poorly mixed that no matter how much you stir them you can not get a consistent coverage and you leave them for days and they never truly dry but remain sticky, it's difficult to remove or cover with another paint and the surface remains uneven and blotchy spoiling the entire look and finish of the model.
I've had very expensive models totally ruined by a bad tin of paint and when you complain all Humbrol do is send you another tin of paint as if that is going to compensate for the ruined model that you've spent a tidy some of money on and spent hours building.Read full review

Modelling Project
I bought a primer and five other colours for my model project. I was disappointed with the results I got. The primer is a strong grey and when I tried to cover it with a yellow it turned a shade of green/yellow so I had to give it a total of three coats to get to an acceptable yellow. The other colours are generally weak and need at least two coats as well.. Also the black wouldn't dry as the dryers in it seem to be non existant.

Good product can too small
It is a matt varnish and as a matt varnish it is excellent.
On opening the pots it is essential to completely empty the contents into a larger container so that it can be mixed properly and some Humbrol thinners should be used by first pouring some into the empty can and then into the decanted varnish to mix the thicker parts of the varnish together.
This done the product applies to the surface perfectly.Read full review

Usual Humbrol quality. Ease the lid off carefully and stir the paint - as per the instructions.
Brush can be cleaned (if done right away) using washing up liquid and warm water.
