Hycote Engine Enamel Gloss Black
This spray paint is definitely worth a 5 star rating. I have used it a few times now on different projects and have always had a great gloss finish. Coverage is good if you shake the can vigorously before and during applications. No primer required, straight onto a well cleaned bare metal surface. Disappointing coverage
No problems with the delivery time, or dealing with the company. But I noticed that the paint coverage was poor. Before using this product, I had been using a can of the same stuff, probably 5 years old. No problem with the coverage with that. But there seemed to be much less pigment coming out of the new can, despite a ridiculously energetic shake.Read full review...

Quality versatile paint
A good quality paint that does everything that it says on the can. It is useful for painting surfaces other than engine blocks ie. Motorcycycle wheel rims and gives a smooth high gloss finish that once cured is hard and very durable. All Hycote Products Are Ace
This one is no exception. I blast back a lot of small engine parts, brackets and such - and this stuff gives them that factory look back. If you can oven bake it, even better - a very tough and durable finish. As ever, but especially with enamel, spray light coats and wait in between - patience is always the key, and the first couple of coats should be "dusted" on.
Hycote tech support is also fantastic, when enquiring about their calliper paint I got concise and prompt emails back, giving full detail. Its my go to brand for aerosol products, and I can't reccomend them highly enough.Read full review...

Lovely Gloss Finish
Works well - remember to shake like Tom Cruise in Cocktail at double speed for two minutes, and build up thin coats. Used it on a brake plate as I needed heat-resistant properties, and it came up better than the factory finish.
Bear in mind that before you paint, you want that surface to be smoother than Kojak's head, and you'll be very pleased with this product.Read full review...

Very bad fitting spray nozzles paint leaks and goes everywhere you don't want it plus you loose most of the paint on the floor and all over yourself.
The supplier won't answer my messages about the bad nozzles and leaking cans ..not good avoid at all costs I had to redo all my hard prep work so I can spray again. .
