Overall a good book

Lots of useful, interesting information. It is a bit annoying who that the author keeps referring to "you will learn this in class", completely ignoring that for numerous reasons (price, location etc) the reader might not be taking classes. For me that just made me feel insecure about my ability to achieve hypnobirthing. Otherwise it is a good mix of the theory behind hypnobirthing, and actual techniques.

The CD only has 2 tracks, but they are very good. Her voice is very soothing. It is obvious that the author is trying to make you buy more, as she goes into detail about "the most important exercise" ("Rainbow relaxation")for which you of course need to purchase an additional CD. There is no relaxing music on the CD provided with this book, it is only the author talking with music in the background.Read full review...

Great way to birth, but need the course with a practitioner

Great read with fantastic results if done in conjunction with a Mongan method hypnobirthing practitioners.
