Disappointed

To be honest, I am disappointed with the new mower. There was no oil in the package (as promised) and frankly the machine is a bit lightweight, The minimum cutting height is 25 mm but ideally I would want it lower, there is no roller to give a finished look to the cut and some of the cuttings miss the collecting box..
Being realistic, it was not expensive so maybe I got what I paid for, but it's not a patch on my 25 year old Mountfield which I have just retired. It does cut grass and time will tell whether I decide if I need to replace it in the near future. Shame as I expected more from a well known brand and there are other lesser known mowers out there and they are cheaper.Read full review

I usually buy Mountfield mowers, this one has many plus points compared to them

Easy to assembly, just the handle to bolt together
Easy to fill oil tank ( some can be very fiddly)
Grass box is slightly smaller but you can see through the mesh so can tell when it's full without stopping to check
Another plus is that all 4 wheels height is adjusted at once, by moving just 1

Filled in the 3 year warranty easily online

A robust mower with adequate power for the larger garden.

First impressions. A robust design with easy height adjustment; self propulsion works well. Engine started first time without fuss. Good capacity grass box with the minor niggle that it is not as easy to empty as some mowers. Maybe I over-filled it, early days of use. Picks up fallen leaves and grass clippings efficiently.

Both my wife and I love the looks and how light it is.
Practically ready to go straight out of the box.
Cuts brilliantly and the motor is more than powerful enough for anything we have tackled so far.
Most of our petrol tools are Hyundai and we can't fault them.

Excellent work really well

I have been looking at this mower now for quite a while waiting for my old mower to finally give up It was worth the wait because it was cheaper than expected and with a 3 year warranty. I liked the plastic base my old lawnmowers have always rusted out when the engines were still working well. I assembled the mower in about 10mins WITHOUT the instruction booklet. I filled with oil and petrol and I was off It Started 2nd pull which for a brand new engine this is good. Its also fairly quiet running and cut and packs the grass well.
Only downside is I didn't receive any free oil but it only needs about a cup full so not a major problem.

My new Hyundai lawn mower.

Superb lawn mower, light weight but strongly constructed. It’s very easy to start, runs very quietly and cuts the grass very evenly at all the height settings. Adjusting the cutting height is very easy as is manoeuvring the grass collection box when full. Having a mesh constructed grass collection box also makes this function lighter weight than a plastic moulded box. Over a great machine that has the feel of a more expensive machine. New petrol push mower

Changed to petrol when My Bosch Rotak 370 gave up. Delivery was very quick, price was far cheaper than the sheds and it was easy to asssemble and start.
Slight concern over small size of grass box and fixing of handle to base (self tapping screw)

For a small lawn it's good

For a small lawn it's good. It's light and easy to use. It isn't robust however and certainly not built for more demanding jobs. If you're someone with a smallish lawn and cut the grass every week during summer then it's fine. Easy to assemble and oil was provided. Great lightweight mower

Needed a lightweight mower to replace my Mountfield which is getting far too heavy to push around my lawn. Started first pull and was so easy to use and cuts well. Grassbox a little smaller than used to, and the wheels are slightly smaller which means you do have to push a little harder mowing over uneven areas. However, overall pleased with my Hyundai and at least there will be no rust issues in the future. Remains to be seen how the plastic casing weathers.Read full review
