This film is a great family film. The story is based on true events and the song "I Can Only Imagine" is clearly explained after you see this film. The acting is first class and the story is will written. Jesus and how he can change your life is also witnessed in this film. I would highly recommend this movie. I love this movie! Amazing actors telling a story of an incredible song!

Love the story of how the Dove Award winning song came to be written. I did not know the back story about Amy Grant picking up the rights to record the song, but then giving it back to Bart Millard. The movie was difficult to watch at times as the young Bart was horribly abused by his father. Brought back memories of my own childhood. But, forgiveness is the most freeing thing one can give, not just to another, but to one's own self. Mercy Me has gone on to release a long list of amazing Christian songs, but this was the one that started them on the road to being known around the world.Read full review
