A good introduction into race relations in America

If the idea of race in the United States is something you feel you do not understand then this DVD is required viewing. To understand how so many black Americans can frustrated with seeing black Americans killed by the police, this DVD is a fascinating introduction to race relations in the United States. James Baldwin, featured in this movie, was among the most eloquent black American intellectuals in the U.S. during the 50s and 60s, and this film focuses on one of his projects, his friendship with 3 great American Civil Rights leaders who were murdered: Medgar Evers, Malcom X, and Martin Luther King, Jr. You cannot watch this without being touched by the loss of these great men, and Baldwin's response to the loss of these great men. It is frustrating in American history that as many things repeat themselves, the continual killing of black Americans repeats itself over and over again for no good reason.
