Only Canon could produce a scanner as excellent as this very small, light and easy to use model. Make sure you keep the serial number from the box. Make sure you read the instructions. Unless you are working with a big-memory computer, stick to the 300 dpi resolution, as 1200 dpi may freeze your PC or laptop. The cable is only used for power - for data transfer, you need to take out the memory card to access the images.
