tone sucking solved

there are 200 reviews out there, saying it is a tone sucker. Mine doesnt do that. it is running into a slightly overdriven channel and theres no loss in the high end whatsoever. it does muddy the tone on megaclean, but people mostly buy it because they like the frusciante tone which isnt really clean anyways. once you find that edge of breakup kind of sweet spot on your crunch channel/overdrive pedal (which has to be after the wh10, so closer to the amp) the pedal will do no significant changes to your tone. also on a clean channel it will make a huge volume jump when engaged, the slightly broken up signal will make that behave too.Read full review...

Tone Killer

Putting this pedal in the chain kills the tone. It works fine and sounds fine when engaged , but when off darkens the tone far too much to be usable. Could be used in studio work, but is otherwise worthless unless you plan on having it on all the time. Can be modded to true bypass to fix, but I would avoid this pedal all together.Read full review...

Great product, although it causes a great loss of signal when bypassed. Will I need to let you in True Bypass not to lose the tone of the guitar. He came at me with a noise in the pot, but it was easy to solve, it was just dust. Probably the time that is saved.
