Icom IC-R7000 Receiver

Generally a good operating and stable receiver all in a nice size package.

Receiver has great sensitivity, meets low noise and ajaceint channel rejection under near by signals. The signal to noise ratio is also on par throughout the 25-1000 MHZ range The memory has ample storage and Frequency stability and lock is as specified (with 20 min warm up).
Layout of panel is on par with this vintage unit. Very easy to use and understand controls .

R7000 vco board

I bought my r7000 new when they first came out. I have repaired it several times over the years. But this time I was stumped. But I knew the problem was on the vco board. So replacing the board fixed the radio. I am very pleased with the purchase .
