Outstanding Function & Quality

Having looked at a few similar models (some cheaper and some more expensive) I finally settled on this one. I am so happy I did, it is extremely poweful with a fantastic heat output. The build quality is equally as pleasing, this is not the type of fan heater that will break down after a few uses - like some I have had in the past. A solid unit but potentially capable of much better things.

I am not suggesting all the models are like this, but the one I had looked solid and I was hoping it would heat my garage. Unfortunately, the heat generated was less than a hair dryer and less than a £ 10.00 2kw heater purchased from LIDL.

The thermostat was probably faulty as on full, after an hour or so, if you clicked it back, the thermostat was no clicking (kicking in) at a much less temperature so it was not going to reach 3kw max temp no matter how long it was left on for. I therefore returned it.Read full review...

May not meet heat 'Comfort' expectation due to small surface area of tubular heater.

It's very well made - metal casing and screwed not rivetted. The fan is quiet and of solid construction. It looks like it could run for a long time without trouble.

The downside I can see for many complaining about its heat output, is it uses a conventional tubular cooker type element. Yes, it will draw and put out 3KW of heat, but the airflow is high and it will take time to feel warm in a room. The tubular heating element needs to have a much greater surface area, matched to a reduced air flow and higher surface temperature on the element. I bought mine to gut and re-engineer into an electrostatic dust collector. I will be removing the heater and thermostat because only need the metal casing, fan, safety grills and switches. I give it 4*s because it's just what I want to re-engineer as a high voltage electrostatic dust collector.Read full review...

I was most disappointed with this product which I bought to use on a job, as a decorator I thought it would be ideal to use after I had sprayed the roof of a 20ft container in side to help dry it imagine my embarrassment when after turning it on closing the doors leaving it to run for an hour at full power it made little difference and I could put my bare hand on the front the front grill gives out very little heat . made me look a right **** in front of my clientRead full review...

good neat well made heater but the heat out put is not great, it does work but the heat area that is stated should be halved we are a bit disappointed would need 2 of these at least.
