As a Religious Educator for many years I picked this text for children who have made their First Sacraments in the Catholic Church. It is true to the teachings of the Catholic Church and is at a reading level for 7-9 years. It is published by Ignatius Press and they have a good reputation for Religious Education. I like the book because I can write lesson plans for each and every chapter. And this helps the teacher as well as the children because there is no guess work. I use the lesson plans every year and just change the date and sometimes update plans. Another reason I like the book is that I can buy it used.
