This book brought Heaven to me in a fantastic colorful way.

This book read like a novel and it held my attention to the end. It really deepened my awareness and broaden my knowledge of heaven. I lent my copy to a friend and bought another one as a gift to my Pastor. I am a Christian for 40 years and John Burke did a wonderful job of lining up the Near Death Experiences with Scripture. The research is from credible sources. If you are a Christian this will be like a revealing of all God has in plan for Believers. If you are not a Christian this book is full of facts and presented in a non-critical and humble way. I was amazed at the common elements of people of all ages and cultures who experienced Near Death Experiences. According to the research most experienced love like they never experienced on earth, colors and beauty beyond anything they ever knew, and Heaven's reality was more heightened and earth's reality paled against it. Those that had bad experiences said the horror was beyond anything they have heard of on earth, but a man of light came to them with incredible love. Some of these folks became Christians. This is One Book You Don't Want to Miss!

Loved this book! It was hard to put down! It's a wonderfully well organized compilation of near death experiences from people of all different backgrounds, countries, languages, and belief systems. The Christian author supported these spoken stories with actual verses from the Bible to show how they are related. It was a joy to read and reflect on plus it changed many of my ideas of what Heaven would be like. It's certainly an awesome place with the existence of pure, true love everywhere. You will be mesmerized by these recorded stories of amazing colors, skies, grass, all vegetation, animals, birds, bodies of water, how people look, travel, communicate, etc. You won't like the "hellish" part though. Just Knowing

My 27 year old son passed away November 8, 2017 and a friend recommended this book to me. It kind of gave me mixed emotions because I wish my son would have had a chance to come back because he had just spent 7 years earning his civil engineering degree. But I also know, by reading these accounts, that he is in a better place. A place of Light and Love known as Heaven. 💕
I've drawn closer to God since his death and reading this and I can't wait to see the place the Lord has prepared for me... All in His time...
We have our plans but the Almighty has His and we need to live to get to His Promise. I bought a second book to give to a friend!

This book is excellent. For anybody who is interested in NDEs (or death experiences) it is compelling and awe-inspiring. The author has done a great job at compiling stats from hundreds of cases and has included excerpts from many to give the reader a real sense of what many people experience when they die and then are brought back to life. I have been studying NDE's and those who claim to have been taken to heaven for 25 years. This is the most energizing topic for anyone to read and Burke has comprehensively tied together all of it in one place referencing scripture along the way. If people knew what God has prepared for them, they would start living for it and send their treasure on ahead. If you are not excited about it, well, that is proof of spiritual blindness and warfare. Great book. It gives a solid true account through the testimonies of near death experiences which agree with what the Scriptures have said all along. It is the question of all question. What happens when we die? The Bible is clear on the answer. God has answered this question through men like Daniel, David, John, Paul and Peter. Jesus Himself taught on the subject in great detail. Jesus goes so far as to say, "I go and prepare a place for you. If it were not true I would have told you." There is no question that there is life after death, however, there is also death after death. There are many strong points that John Burke pulls out of the testimonies that fully agree with the testimonies of the prophets and the apostles. Of course everyone who has entered into a zone that is far beyond anything we can think or image with our limited knowledge will attempt to word it in different ways. However, the substance is the same. The core of what they are trying to explain is the same.
