Good little camera which packs a lot more than the price reflects.
Having bought other cameras for security reasons I was never happy with them so was hesitant when i saw this one, a colleague at work said he used them in all his properties and showed me some of the feeds on his phone, convinced me to get it. the picture quality is good for both night and day, setup is simple with easy to read instructions and the ability to use it over the internet with a link to the phone is great for if you want to go on holiday and be sure things are ok at home.
3 minor gripes are
1. The power lead is a bit short as most plugs are low down on the wall and you normally want to have the camera high up out of reach of want to be burglars, easy fix is to have an extension option for the camera
2. It would be nice to have a backup battery inside the camera so if that want to be burglar does unplug it it will keep recording his evil ways.

3. No fault of the camera but it if your WiFi is not up to scratch the feed can be delayed, that said, the camera will still record to the memory card. Read full review...

Wouldn't recommend
Poor performance generally with the app compared with another COOAU generic camera I bought. Doesn't support all features of onvif and is harder to setup and configure as a result without using the specific proprietary app which isn't great. Streaming is laggy even when wired. Quality on a budget
Initially tried connecting with Onvif protocol and i could not get it to connect (Wired) as there was suggestion the password was wrong although it was fresh out of the box and the safety code is supposed to be the default password. After some Googling, discovered the Dahua config tool and managed to reset password to default. Instructions could be improved here.
Once connected, what can i say but superb picture quality day and night. Have now had this working with Onvif and RTSP protocols in CMS and iSpy PC software and of course the Imou life app.
A bit more faffing around switching from Wired to wireless as the IP address changed and i had to delete and add the device again a number of times in the mobile app and although configured the wireless while still on wired the app wasn't having any of it and timing out when trying to configure. Tried again following day and connected without issue to wireless.
Would 100% recommend buying this product and am going to order a few more.

Powerful - Great Value - Poor Instructions - Still 5* Though
The cameras are full of very powerful features and with a great price represents unbeatable value; that being said the instruction are, quite honestly pants, but persevere as once set up are really fantastic and worth the effort. Do not try and set up the cameras on the Imou Life website, but use the Imou Life app for phones etc which is simple once you get your head around it. Before mounting the cameras I advise taking a photo of the sticker on the underside which has the SN and the safety code (used when resetting the camera) as once mounted high up could be problematic to retrieve the info. Once the initial setup is complete using the phone app, the website based program is great as it gives you the ability to see the camera feed on a larger screen, however if you have to reset the cameras use the phone app. It seems Imou has put more time, resources & development into the phone app.
All in all, despite the poor instructions and tricky setup, once up and running provides a very powerful and cost effective solution and I would easily recommend this company's products.Read full review...

Great product for price range. Easy tiii set up and fine tune detection rate. Push notifications are timely and accurate. Time code is in UTC so need to manually adjust for BST. Eg + 1 he .

A quality product,well purchased this as first Camera i have purchased so was concerned with regard to quality etc.
Shouldnt have been this Camera arrived well packaged with easy to read instructions. i fitted same and downloaded the App so straight forward ,only niggle for a non tec person was the altering of the Router to output only 2.4mhz but with that done easy.
The product is well made and easy to fit you even supplied a template . The camera quality in HD is excellent so is the Speaker! Thank you for a well thourght out product and with the excellent value for money.

Good value for this money
After first week I’m really impressed about this cctv. Is cheap and offer more then decent photos and videos. Easy to install and to setup as well. App is intuitive and come with many options to adjust ex motion detector you can enable/disable and you can chose the level of sensitivity. The most impressive was night vision for this camera , unexpectedly good i can say. Don’t have big expectations from this camera, if you want good quality photos for zooming you’ll need to buy something more pro of course with more then double price probably. Against I’m about their cloud storage plan, sure you can add your sd card there but you can’t delete photos what you want you have only option to format the sd card when is full. With their cloud storage plan you have option to remote into your videos . At the end i can say I’m ok with what this camera offer.Read full review...

I am very impressed with the camera, I bought 1 to try out and my existing cameras are getting old now and want to replace them.
I will be ordering another 3 of these as they are fantastic value for money.
Easy to set up although they do require an extension lead (Not Supplied) if the Camera is not being installed within 2 meters of a plug.
