amazing album got here fast, plays well, flawless!

This is in such perfect condition. Like, sure theres some wear and tear around the outside but the disc runs smoothly, there are STICKERs! Its perfect! My friend introduced me to Radiohead and this is his favorite album so what better way to say thank you for being there than to surprise him with this album playing in his own car! I am sooo happy and so satisfied. I can't even begin to describe how awesome of a purchase this was. I will definitely buy from you again. Thank you so much!Read full review...

radiohead in rainbows

as usual with radiohead - a dense multilayered record that takes repeated listens to penetrate - more accessible that KID A or AMNESIAC ( both fantastic recordings as well) with groovy jazz type riffs soaked in the pervasive techo melancholy peculiar to radiohead, it is surprisingly dancable , soulful with flights of feeling and exhilarating overwashes of keyboards, some great off key beats, the recording has a wonderful old tube amp feeling with some fuzz and ringing and tons of warmth - is this on vinyl? - other bands such as sigur ros have approached a narrow spectrum of radioheads odd synthetic romance , thom yorkes vocals are gripping, spacey and harrowing - one wonders what is next....Read full review...

A throwback to the best tracks of The Bends

As a devoted Radiohead fan, one of the things I hear most about this band is often that there are two melodic styles of Radiohead - Radiohead before Kid A, and Radiohead after Kid A. While I personally loved the synthesized and modulated droniness, I was always nostalgic for tracks like The Bends' "Just" or OK Computer's "Airbag." Radiohead's In Rainbows is the perfect fusion of everything you liked about the progressive rock days and the eerie and stylistic computer tones of Kid A and beyond. This is a MUST for any Radiohead superfan and a great exploratory CD even for those new to this band's mind-blowing ingenuity and depth.Read full review...

How do you write a review about the most glowingly reviewed album of the year? You don't, really, only add to the accolades, which in this case are wholly deserved. The thing that got me about this album is it's a lot warmer than the most recent previous Radiohead albums, and it seems more accessible, but they have not sacrificed one iota of Radiohead's diffuse characteristics. In other words it's a pseudo-pop masterpiece but composed in the ether, and you get the feeling Thom Yorke's voice is just an instrument of sound more than anything. Great, but not too overt, and a good synthesis of what we've heard before from Radiohead, albeit not entirely in this combination.Read full review...

In Rainbows - Radiohead

It's been a while since Radiohead has released any new material as a group, which made me decide to purchase this (and the fact they're my all time favorite band). This, delivers. In my opinion, it's almost a blend of sorts, between Pablo Honey, The Bends, (the earlier RH) and OK Computer, Hail to the Thief (later RH). There's some 'classic' sounds, mixed with their newer, sound experimentations. I really do like this album. The only 'downside' is there's only 10 tracks; I don't know if there was more, and the amount released was limited, and there'll be a B-sides album, as there is a few Radiohead 'unreleased' albums out there...Read full review...

Radiohead in Rainbows

Amazing album. I just needed a new copy since mine was worn out. The CD is like brand new, with all the little perks that came with it. Great price too.

Radiohead's "In Rainbows" - an instant classic

Perhaps the greatest Radiohead album ever, this collection of songs is hard at first listening, for me it took at least 3 times to get used to the complexity of the songs, but then this turned my head upside down, a 'grower' like some say (hey Anthony Fantano!).
A definite classic, perhaps the greatest Radiohead album ever.

Very good

I wasn't completely sure if I was going to like this CD at first becuase I honestly like older Radiohead stuff better, but I listened to this whole CD in one sitting, and everything on it is very good. I think it's slightly more listener friendly than say, Kid A. But fans of the electronica-infused Radiohead don't have to fret none, becuase no matter what they do, it's still apparent that thay like to experiment with sounds and such. 5/5 stars.Read full review...
