Good writer, but perhaps not everyone's taste.

Interesting writer with a distinctive style - writes as you would hear "locals" speak.As yet I have not finished the book so to comment further would mean making it up!

The perfect read for British detective/thriller enthusiasts.

Another great book by Mark Billingham. This particular novel isn't centred around Tom Thorne - however, it is a police/detective thriller and Tom has a small cameo 'part' within the story. I enjoyed this very much and have been working my way through all the Mark Billingham books since January 2011. His books are a great read and I have nearly caught up with the author, so I hope he has plenty more books planned!Read full review...
