I'm really enjoying this micro-size devotional. It's just enough content for each day of December leading up to Christmas Day. Max Lucado is a gifted storyteller. He takes a fresh look at the birth of Jesus from the perspective of the shepherds, Joseph, Mary, etc. At the end of each day's reading, he includes a beautiful prayer that gives application to what I just read.
