Like I seid it has it't limets
Brcause it is limeted in what it can do this is why I gave it a 4star insted of a 5star excample this device is great if you are copying to the same size drive let say a 500 Gb to a 500 Gb it's great how ever if you copy from a smaler drive to a bigger drive it can turn a 1Tb drive to a smaller in other words you can't use all the Tb drive cause it only can copy from the originl sizs on to the bigger drive .excample if you clone from a 320Gb on to a 750 Gb there will be 250 gb that you can't use because that much space is unavalibe it will be unalicated .So why put it on a bigger drve when you cut down the space on the bigger drive it don't make sense to turn a 750Gb into a320 or a500 you want to utalze more space not a smaller size space.I hope that the technoligy will improve in time.thanks an have a great day.Read full review

Can access simultaneously thru drive switch but can't do any striping or spanning... So I think it's more synchronous than asynchronous or serial than parallel(guess with USB that'd be! Lol). Just a caveat of the "switch" vs "single lines". I just wanted to mention in case anybody else had that idea I just happened to test whether any striped or spanning worked and it did not, but I didn't really expect it to. you can still use both at "same time" and most other cases, so good enough for me.
