Floating thermometers

All of these floating thermometers suffer from the same problem. They are inaccurate at the thermometer itself without any user way to adjust/calibrate them. Ones I had purchased in the past were 6 degrees off and were sent back. The one I purchased is 3 degrees too high, but I will live with it. A quality product. Love it.

Used to convert a 14cu ft upright freezer into a no freezer refrigerator. for off gridd. Highly recommended for this use. Power use is just 14 watts per hour. Easy to program. Temperature differe nce maximums are 15 degrees - I would prefer more. All other options are ok, I just wanted with wifi - confused this model with wifi model.

I can't give this 5 stars because I have yet to actually use it. My friend has the same product and it does work well, which is why I got it. It seems to be reliable so far. I hope it lasts.

Quality temp regulator with compressor delay

Thermocouple is very precise and fast. Don’t submerge the thermo probe, it’s not meant for submerging unless waterproofed. Compressor delay function which only the 308 has is a must for a freezer or a fridge.

Excellent for basic temperature control.

It's easy to use, just connect the fridge and the heating element to it and it's ready. The only drawback is that you can't program it to follow a temperature curve.

On/Off button need!

Only wish it had seen on/ off button. So you won't have to unplug it, for it not to stay on all the time. Other than that, it works great.

Great for home brewing

This is a fantastic temperature controller for homebrewing it’s modular if you do have problems with it it’s easily replaced for $25 most of mine that I’ve had over the years of lasted about 2 1/2 to 3 years before they’re just unserviceable but they get constant use at my house. Another good thing is that if you notice that they’re out of calibration by comparing them to another thermometer that you trust you can go in and adjust it there’s a calibration mode in there where you can adjust it by how many degrees it’s off I recently did this with one of mine where it was noticeably 2° off I compared it to other thermometers that were in agreement and then I just went into the menu and adjusted it by 2° so now that it’s calibrated this will be the process you do until it just gets so far out of whack that it’s better just to replace it.Read full review
