Great Cpu for someone whos looking to step into the core i3,15,17 range

after using a Xeon e5450 quad core at 3.2 ghz for a year now, I knew it was time to upgrade, this CPU was my answer, it offers great bang for the buck, it has the same amount of cores and is clocked at roughly the same speed as my old Xeon e5450 but performs much better as it is much more updated, if youre not looking to overclock and but still want a small kick, the boost clock goes up to 3.7 ghz making it a good candidate for playing modern games at high speed when complimented with the right hardware.Read full review

Great CPU works a treat

Put this into a mini-ITX board and case and after some initial school boy errors by me I finally got everything booted up. Thought I might have a DOA board as it was from China but then discovered I connected the CPU fan to the Audio header and this had been causing the CPU to overheat and switch everything off. The CPU runs like dream and this mini-ITX is faster than my main PC and a whole lot less bulky. Very over priced compared to modern CPU's, but OK for what it is.

Very old CPU now in 2020 and seriously over priced for what it is. Definitely NOT worth buying unless like me you hate e-waste and have a Haswell motherboard that can be put to good use.
