Great processor for gaming

Great processor for gaming and other more intensive computing tasks. I upgraded from an i5-7500 and this was perfect for that. Really helped speed up my computer's performance, especially for gaming. It's not a super modern processor (Skylake architecture/2015) but it absolutely doe the job and compares well even with newer i7s. A good longterm investment in a strong CPU. I paired it with a good cooler: DeepCool Gamaxx 400 and Noctua II thermal paste and it runs stable and well. Runs VMs well and compiles code fast especially if you have a good SSD as well.Read full review
