Extend the life of your old motherboard, amazing value for money!

Amazing value and it enabled me to extend the life of my 10 year old LGA1366 motherboard even further. I also bought an AMD 570 gfx card and both of them combined mean that i can play my new pc games like X4 and Mount & Blade 2 at full graphics detail (1920x1080) and still get over 60 fps, beforehand both games were unplayable. This particular CPU also runs a lot cooler than the other xeon chips so it will be a lot easier to overclock if i need to. I would definetely recommend that anyone in a similar position as me should buy one of these chips as well especially with gaming in mind. My i7 920 cpu served me faithfully for many years but the prices that these xeon chips are selling for now (mines was £30) and the increase in performance is just crazy.Read full review
