It's time to replace an upgrade ASUS laptop Wi-Fi card

This component was an excellent replacement for my Asus laptop the original Wi-Fi card that it came with was having issues in regards of penetrating through the walls of my house to get to the router. As a result of that I have to use an usb wi-Fi adapter to resolve that issue. Since I discovered it is possible to upgrade my laptop's Wi-Fi card so I decided it was time to replace the Wi-Fi card that my laptop came with and upgrade the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time while I'm at that, so I did that and after replacing the Wi-Fi card the issue was resolved and the new Wi-Fi card was able to penetrate through the walls of my house without any issues and it got to the router without any issues and at this point i do not need to use the USB Wi-Fi adapter at this point. I wish It had more range, as for the Bluetooth it works as well with my current Bluetooth devices as well. Yes I would recommend it.Read full review

Not as good as I expected

This AC 9260 acting funny. Keep on drop out from wifi system. Get no help. Intel seems don't care about the issue. Don't buy it now wait until it get more mature which is better software support.

Wow, what a significant upgrade!

I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon 4th gen that was dropping WiFi connections and just had generally slow internet in general.

After some research online, it looked like a good idea to upgrade the WiFi card.

Although this one isn't recommended by Lenovo for my laptop, I figured it try it. WOW, what a difference! WiFi is actually stable and much faster now. For the price it is well worth the upgrade.

Note, you do lose vPro capability if you install this card. It doesn't come back either, not a problem for me, but be aware of this.

Also, it works with NO post errors and no whitelist bypass at least for the X1 Carbon 3rd and 4th gen laptops.

Superb WiFi upgrade for a Lenovo Thinkpad E485 laptop

This WiFi card was used to upgrade my fiancée's Qualcomm WiFi card in her Lenovo Thinkpad E485 laptop. The throughput and connectivity range nearly doubled on Intel compared to Qualcomm. Very good upgrade, well worth the money. Bluetooth 5.0 works without any issues as well.Read full review

Overall a big improvement over the OEM QualComm WiFi card

Far exceeds the performance of the WiFi card the Dell G3 3950 ships with. Overall, much more reliable (no more dropped connections, or need to manually reconnect, etc). It is a bit tricky to attach the antenna wires to the card but once you do that and connect the card back to the motherboard, it is essentially plug-n-play. Once you boot up just check online to see if you need the latest drivers.Read full review

Solid Wi-Fi controller at a good price.

Solid WIFI controllers, good compat (Not CNVi so it'll work in 96% of computers), good drivers.

Also good price to get the stand alone module vs an Asus or TP Link.

So In conclusion, It's a good AC BT5 controller, though if you can get the AX200 for the same price or a tiny bit more expensive, I'd do that.Read full review

It works excellent!

It works excellent, if you have connection problems on your laptop, this could be a good solution, just connect and go, immediately appeared all the nearby networks which before was impossible because I did not see the wifi in my own home, excellent product. just make sure it is compatible with your computer.Read full review

Installed, replacing an 8265 series intel wifi/bluetooth card, in a Thinkpad T480s. Whenver Bluetooth AND wifi was on and active, the Wifi speed was extremely under performing. Replacing this card and nothing else (nothing wrong with the antenna cabling or the positioning of the antenna wiring) it now performs as expected.Read full review

Fast Intel Wireless

I replaced a slower wireless card with this Intel 9260. No set up required as it was recognized and installed (Linux). The difference in speed was noticeable and instant. The Bluetooth works perfectly and all my devices are seen.Read full review

Works flawlessly

It works on windows 10 right away without driver installation. Both the Wifi and Bluetooth work great. The only thing is that I don't have 160Mhz wireless router to test out the 1.73Gbps speed though.
