Old timer but still cuts the mustard

Updated a Dell Optiplex 380 which was running a Core 2 Duo 7500 and had a respectable performance. After fitting the quad core the performance improvement was noticeable and now with an ssd the PC boots in around 15 seconds and in normal use performance is about the same as my main rig which has an i5- 6600 in it. these old Core 2 Quads are terrific value for money and seem to go on for ever. Worthwhile Upgrade.

Bought a PC for £10 for basic office use. had a E7600 in it, it was running OK with Windows 10 32bit, installed this CPU, upgraded the RAM and installed Windows 10 64Bit. Perfect as a daily driver.
