Originally bought a really old HP 6560b with an i5 2410M @ 2.30GHz. It would CONSTANTLY experience processor spikes (100% Utilization when checking the Performance Tab in Task Manager) then Blue Screen on me, especially whenever I used Chrome.

Loved it. Worked like a complete charm

I did a test render through Sony Vegas using both the processors, and this one out worked the original i5, by 5 minutes. That is a HUGE difference, considering. Hoping on upgrading to the highest CPU before the summer.

Excellent upgrade

I replaced the the I5-2410M in my Lenovo G770 laptop with this. It was a very easy task. All you need is a screw driver and a little thermal paste. It took me about 15 minutes. Boot time is reduced by about 10 seconds. It is running so cool that I actually feel cool air coming out from the air vent. Improved performance is quite noticeable.Read full review

I used this to upgrade the i5-2410m CPU in my Lenovo G770. I did need to find and install Intel HD Graphics 3000 drivers to make everything look okay. But once I did that everything was great.

Nice CPU, relatively cold

I switched my I5 2410m to this one and its run perfectly. Slightly noticeable temperature risen for 5C. but gives tons of performance. my K73SV has second breath with this CPU and now it supports 16GB 1600 ram. I am pretty happy with this budget upgrade.Read full review

Upgraded an HP Elitebook 8560P from an I5-2410 to an I7-2420QM. I checked the HP manual and websites for compatibility before I purchased. It installed and ran with no issues. Nice for an older generation i7

Not a bad cpu for an older gen i7. It performs well, especially paired up with an SSD. Brought new life within a HP ProBook 4440s that was donated for parts. Just works great!
