Good value for old Ivy bridge

My old MB dead, but CPU is still good. I don't want build new system before DDR4 price become reasonable. So I found this little MB DH77DF.

Everything works well. Good for the price, but look not new.
There are some traces of (water?) washing on the back.Read full review

Excellent motherboard

Too bad this board is no longer made or sold by Amazon. Only on eBay now.

It will likely come without an I/O shield. So make your own with cutouts from a stiff piece of cardboard (like the back of a notepad). It's tricky, but you can always tape small pieces over larger spaces. The idea is to prevent dust from being sucked in through the back. Just tape it to the outside of the chassis. This makes installing the MB much easier because it doesn't have to precisely fit into the metal I/O shield.Read full review
