Sadly, these filters are very noisy and not really that good at filtering more than the smallest of tanks with a very low waste load. Personally, I moved on (very quickly) to the much better Eheim range before upgrading my tank and getting a more substantial external filter.Read full review...

Very difficult to open

I have several smaller Interpret filters that a easy to snap open for cleaning. This one is almost impossible to open. Shame as it is otherwise a very good filter. Will probably try different brand as can't see this one not meeting a hammer very soon.Read full review...

Its very very noisy. The noise dominates the room and gave me a headache. Managed to suffer it for 2 weeks before replacing it with a Fluval unit (which thankfully is almost silent) I would not recommend the Interpet filter, I wasted my money buying one.Read full review...
