When I needed An Automotive Quality part as a Barrier Diode on my 6 Volt Generator this was a better solution than the Oring Diodes less leakage!

The IR 82CHQ030 was used to replace an 80Amp15Volt Barrier Diode to solve a heat saturation problem. It has a little better Reverse Leakage current at 100' C and still is handling 50 Amps with only 0.2 Volts Forward Drop. Read full review
