Intruder (Blu-ray, 1989)

Probably the greatest american slasher of the late-80's

It's easy to see that this movie was created by very creative and witty people, who know how to pick the right crew and actors. It's especially entertaining to watch Burr Steers play the stoner Bub character. This is just one of those movies that fires on all levels and you can't turn away from it. It stays the course and has enjoyable scenery the entire trip. Very cool and inventive shots in this as well. That's what kept my attention the most. But the setting, the cast dynamic, the pace, the color and look of the film, the awesome and grim track on the opener all make this a very enjoyable slasher. I watched it one late night when I couldn't sleep and it instantly became a favorite. And now I play it for background noise when I'm working. Very fun watch.Read full review

Intruder.

One of the most over the top and stylish slahser films I ever seen of the late 80s. While it has a of great kills in it and some humor. However, I don't like the ending. But, I still enjoy it.
