Iron Man Rocks

This is a very entertaining movie to watch on any lazy afternoon.

After the horror that was "Furry Vengeance" I had to watch something that I would be 95% sure to like, so heeeeeere's Iron Man 2 on Blu-Ray (yay! pretty, oooooh! Noisy)

Turns out the chest thingy that is keeping Tony Stark alive is slowly killing him by poisoning his body, so he has to find a cure or die. Meanwhile the US government wants the Iron Man technology for themselves. Oh yeah, and the son of Tony's dad's partner wants revenge on Stark for getting him deported, so he becomes WHIPLASH!!!!

So it ends up that Rhodey becomes "War Machine", Iron Man fights him in a battle of the "Iron Men" then they have to team up at the end to beat the bad guy. It was good, loud fun, not too much of Iron Man surprisingly and even when he did appear, you never really felt like the heroes were in any danger. Equal to the first movie!

This movie picks up practically from the end of the first one. A Russian scientist is lying in bed, dying, his son, Ivan is at his side. Ivan is full of rage over the events that existed between his late father & the late Howard Stark! He declares revenge on Tony Stark in the name of his father! He becomes Whiplash! Tony, on the other side of the world, has his own problems. The device that has saved his life is killing him also. He makes Pepper Potts the new Chairwoman, politically correct term now, & the CEO of Stark Industries. He starts becoming reckless, driving the racing car his company sponsored to race in Monaco! Whiplash is also there too! And things get pretty messy really fast! Iron Man saves the day & Whiplash is sent to jail, But, associates of Tonys' rival, Justin Hammer, break Ivan out & send him covertly to the United States. & that is the first 30 minutes of the movie only. I will not go any further to spoil any more of the movie!
About the product, the Limited Edition Steelbook(Metalpak), whichever you wish to call it, is numbered out of a possible 30000 editions available. Not yet sold out at Target.com! I purchased this at a bargain & substantially much less than the cost of importing it from Target! I will say this with the exceptions of those that I have purchased here on Ebay, I have noted certain persons going a little too overboard for the prices they are seeking! Most unfortunate for those of us , the bargain hunters, but rest assured these prices will decrease in time!
It is a 3 disc set, the main feature & some special features on Disc 1, the rest of the Special Features on Disc 2 & the infamous dvd/digital copy on Disc 3. Inside the case, there is the Hall of Armor featuring the four versions of the Iron Man suits. The cover is a lenticular/hologram cover. Very cool!
This is a must buy for collectors & fans of Iron Man, highly recommended for all!Read full review...

When it comes to pristine picture and sound, nothing beats Blu ray. Watching this movie on my home system after viewing at a local theater using this video software is THE BOMB! Picture quality, sound quality using DTS sound option offered on this set offers the home theater enthusiast a chance to recreate the motion theater experience in their living room. By getting this two disc set along with the digital copy for use in a PC is really cool. Can't wait to get my hands on the Thor Blu Ray set when it becomes available next year. A worthy addition to the MCU

I very much enjoyed the first Iron Man movie, and was not disappointed by the second. If you are a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe I'm sure you will find this to be a suitable addition, as well as a lead-in to others that follow.

Solid secuel,just wished there was more action!!

Was really interested in watching this secuel after liking the first one,i felt it developes a little bit slow and revolves too much around one character(Tony Stark)however the cast is one of a kind wich helps it a lot,felt it needed more Iron Man and less Stark but tha's just me :),special efects are awesome and so are the battle scenes,if you are a fan of Iron Man then it's a must see!!!Read full review...

The BEST MCU Lot to get!

From the first movie to start it all, just before the Incredible Hulk, is the first Iron Man. And to add parts 2 & 3 to it will rock! It’s great!
