Used Itronix GoBook3 Marine Laptop
I purchased this on a whim. I like it but it is bulky and dated for daily use and I use it at my electronics workbench and hope the Windows holds up or I will need to reload a newer version to make it work. I may just use a version of 8.1 I purchased for home use to keep this GoBook3 working into the future. It's OK for $80 as a reminder of my past.Read full review

If you need great reliability in adversity, buy an Itronix.
The laptop is heavy, it has a short battery life (used battery, about 3 hours; new battery, about 5 hours). The screen is smallish, and it's not nearly the fastest laptop around - even for the price. However, people who point out these flaws miss the point, and likely should never have bought one of these in the first place. The case is magnesium alloy, the keyboard is waterproof, the ports are all sealed, and the internals are cushioned. if you think a 10lb laptop, like this one, is overly heavy to the top of a mountain so you can carry out a necessary function, try carrying a lighter one the same distance only to find that is won't carry out the mission - because it couldn't take the abuse. Everything is a trade-off, if you don't need near absolute reliability under adverse conditions, don't buy an Itronix. If a lesser computer will serve your needs, then certainly you should buy something else. If you need near absolute reliability, you already know everything I'm saying.Read full review

Money well spent,
I was having a problem with the wireless feature in my gobook III.
I picked up one of these tested cards and it fixed all the issues I was experiencing.
Thank you.
