Classic Knights tale.

Ivanhoe is the tale of a knight returning to England from the crusades.

In true chivalry style, he save a Jews life & then helps him to get to York where the grateful Jew pays for his armour & horse so he can enter the jousts.

He prevails against the top Norman Knights & is soon helping to re-instate Richard the Lionheart to the throne.

A well played tale & a great cast, well worth watching.

For me it was not quite as good as the Robert Taylor "Ivanhoe" but not far off.Read full review
