Does what it says (but use quickly)

This product worked well on a motorcycle exhaust that required some TLC (but still monitoring its effectiveness).
At the moment the only down side is that the remaining solution can dry out fairly quickly once opened (use of cling film might have helped to prevent this), so plan ahead if you are going to use it on different items.Read full review

Poor

It’s described as putty - implying that it will hold its shape while curing. This is not true. It’s quite runny and hardens off into a big tear drop shaped run - a bit like you get with paint. I don’t think it dry’s as hard as they claim either. It sands / files far to easy for my liking, and the small amount I’ve already used has broken off.Read full review

Sands heat well

Great product. Only used it for silver soldering but there is no problem with it failing at 600 -700 deg C.

Fixing Antique French Stove lid cracks

Single use only!!

What you don't know and you are not told is that it is a one use item, you have to mix the whole lot in the pot and use it straight away. I have now saved mine until I really need to use it and gone back to normal 2 part JB Read full review

leaky lid on arrival . Did not work .

Although there were leaking signs around the lid it was still useable . If it was in a shop i would have put it back on the shelf and picked a cleaner one up . Other than that the repair lasted 3 days and the jb weld cracked .

Not as workable as the 2part

This is more of a paste than the usual 2part putty and in my repair to an exhaust it did the job but not as convenient as the 2 part putty. Also it’s one shot and isn’t ideal for smaller jobs where as the 2part can be jaded as the job dictatesRead full review
