JBL GTO939 9 inch Three-Way Coaxial Speaker

Great brand, great product, great sound

JBL is my "go-to" brand for anything/everything speaker. My first purchase was their infamous L-100 Century bookshelf speakers that I have owned and enjoyed for 50 years, and it has been JBL ever since.

These 3-way coaxial car speakers are no exception. I have them (along with 3 other pairs of JBLs) in a Jeep Wrangler. Coupled with the JBL GTR-7535 power amplifier, they fill the air in an open cabin without roof, windows or doors. Great product.Read full review

JBL 629 and 939

These speakers sound amazing in my 14 tacoma off of headunit power. Was expecting alittle bit of better sound over the factory speakers but these just sound too good. My next “aftermarket” thing to get would be a 4 channel amp to get them just about louder maybe a AudioControl lc7i as a active line out converter. Anyways if I’m gonna get a brand new taco or maybe 4Runner I’m definitely going with these as the first aftermarket mod.Read full review

Nice looking speakers

Have not had them installed yet, so I can`t really give a accurate account. But, they sure look nice & are weighty.Waiting to get all the componets together for the system I am gathering. Its going to be pricey on what I what to do but I am sure its going to be worth it. My only complant is they did not come with the JBL stickers & the the felt the goes around the speakers was also missing. Read full review

Great sound. Better with high powered head unit like the Sony that puts out 40 watts rms 100 watts peak or amplified. I love mine I'm using a Sony head unit my self and they are in sealed 6X9 boxes

Excellent mids and highs

I mounted these in the back deck of a 65 Mustang. I do not have the proper sound enclosures around them to generate much base so I cannot evaluate that. The mids and highs are outstanding though.
