Best true 5.1 Soundbar System on the market under $1k
Easily the best soundbar system on the market under $1,000. I researched for weeks and went to the stores to listen to different systems. Maybe it's because I'm such a fan on deep lows (bass) but I absolutely love the sound quality of this bar. There are others, specifically from Samsung that sound great as far as the bar goes but they always lacked the bass that I require from their subs. The JBL Bar has bass to spare while still providing clear vocals and crisp highs. And to top it all off, it is the only soundbar system with TRUE WIRELESS satellite speakers on the market. My one concern is that eventually, as with all battery powered devices, the performance of the batteries on the satellite speakers will degrade/diminish but in the meantime, I'll enjoy it to the fullest!Read full review

Deep Bass
Love it. It's far superior to any 5.1 soundbar system. I currently own every brand in my house. This bad boy hits hard and the sound quality is equivalent to my Bose but hits deeper into the soul.

I SEARCHED MANY DIFFERENT SOUND BARS AND MANY HAD GOOD RATINGS. I FELT MANY OF THEM WERE ALREADY OUTDATED TECHNOLOGY. I WANTED A SOUND BAR ALSO WITH BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY AND JBL WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH GOOD RATINGS THAT I COULD FIND. THAT MADE THE SALE! BUT I ALSO LIKED THE FACT THAT THEY PROVIDE EXCELLENT ACCESSORIES NAMELY FIRST AND FOREMOST THE CALIBRATION SENSOR THAT AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTS THE SOUND TO YOUR ROOM! IT SOUNDS AWESOME. THE SENSOR SENSES FIRST HOW THE CLOSE THE SATELLITE SPEAKERS ARE TO THE MAIN BAR. THEN IT SENDS THE SIGNALS AGAIN AT A FASTER PACE TO MEASURE THE SPEED OF THE SOUND. AFTER CALIBRATION, WOW! Cons:
Satellite speakers can only be charged while system is switched off, being connected to the sound bar while the sound bar is working will not charge the pair.
No features like chromecast or ability to play video from USB and no TV user interface.
There are glitches here and there, just like all surround sound systems.

The sound bar is robust when it needs to be and subtle when the occasion calls for it. The surround speakers are above average for what they are; I wish they had a little more “punch”, but for the wireless aspect they are more than adequate. The sub is GREAT!
