Good value for the price.

Compared to other bikes, good price for the features. Quiet. Was easy enough to put together. Don't bother with the instructions, just follow the YouTube video. The monitor could be a bit clearer to read. Also the position of it is not great as it ends up being in you face if in racing position. Seat could be a little more comfy. However, overall, given the 20kg flywheel, magnetic resistance, belt driven, etc. it is a good bike for the price, particularly a first bike as it is for me.Read full review...

Good workout... if you can handle the niggles

So I did my homework checked all the reviews. I bought the ic300 pro magnetic resistance due to its "silent" design. However I foubd a few issues. The bearings that sit in the flywheel were grinding. So I replaced these with aftermarket ones and it cured the issue. The flywheel is not a solid section and has an aluminium trim over it. As the flywheel spun passed the magnet, some debris under the aluminium is picked up by the magnet and drags making a rattling / rubbing noise... not noticable though when working out. And finally yes the seat post and handlebars are wobbly.. had to tape them to reduce the clearance between the male and female parts. However other than that it is a very good bike for the price.. I would ask JLL to upgrade their bearings, a wider set of radial bearings with more balls in would offer a smoother quieter ride. Read full review...

Just do it.

This really is a great bike & good quality too. Yes it has a few odd bits like a water bottle you can't use due to its position and a LED readout at the wrong angle to read when using but the rest of the bike is outstanding.
Easy to set up using the printed instructions and if you prefer your instructions to be more visual then the instructions are on youtube to make it easier.
I put off buying this product just before lockdown in March because of the cost but now wish I bought it back then. My fitness levels are already getting better after a week & I'm enjoying it.

Nice bike but with a couple of flaws!

Arrived on time and found it very easy to set up with the aid of the Youtube video and using a socket set rather than the tools supplied, a couple of pointers to look out for, firstly you have to be careful with attaching the pedals the very slightest miss threading will cause the crank to make a noise and secondly the handlebars when setting high up tends to rock side to side while in the standing position which is a little disconcerting and no matter how much you tighten does not seem to remedy the problem.
I have only rated the bike at 4 stars as I found the most disappointing feature was the monitor supplied its way too dark and needs to be backlit, also the instructions with it are way too vague, as a beginner I haven't a clue how to work it and what it all means, and then the fact I cannot read it, for a bike now costing £255 this is not good enough.

A promising workhorse

I've been using this bike for a couple of weeks and it does seem quite a good choice for a smaller budget. It is my first exercise bike in this style, so took a little getting used to, posture-wise.
What I like:
-The resistance levels - a good range, including the highest level which allows me to pedal standing up. Its also novel to be able to pedal backwards!
- Adaptability - both the handlebars and seat heights are adjustable.
- The sturdiness: Its quite solid and generally doesn't wobble about at all (apart from the handlebar unit - see below).
What I'm not so keen on:
- The display - it gives a lot of information but is dull, and could be clearer.
- The decal on the flywheel - a minor quibble, but it really is very naff and unnecessary, and dates the bike terribly. I'm looking at you, 1980's!
- The handlebars: Yes, I KNOW they are meant to be horizontal and low.... but I'd like the option to alter them vertically - my back complains about having to lean forward so much.
Things to get used to:
- Cancelling the resistance; do it or risk the wrath of those spinning pedals on your ankles.
- The hard seat; I don't mind it but I saw a lot of moans in the reviews about it.
- The wobbly handlebars; everything else is sturdy, but I just cannot tighten up the handlebar unit enough.
I paid +/- 255 quid for the bike, which I think was about right, however I would not expect to pay much more for it, as its fairly basic, but offers exactly what I needed in a bike.

Bargain and tall friendly.

An easily assembled, pretty good quality machine.

Once I'd removed most of the red decals and fitted a black seat I was happy with the look of the thing.

It was a simple task to move the water bottle holder but not strictly necessary I'm just fussy and right handed.

The only real flaw I've found is a really crap computer/display. Hard to read, km not miles and the pulse monitoring has a mind of its own.
That said, I replaced mine with a great exercise bike app on my phone that has spin cycles.

The few other negatives I've seen mentioned are down to people not assembling it properly. Wobbly seat and bars for instance just need proper tightening of the relevant knob.

My main concern while researching this purchase was getting a bike comfortable for 5'10" and up.
This one certainly is and is proving to be a very good purchase.

Edit. 01/03/19
Still going well but with a couple of problems now.
The bottle holder has collapsed.
The bottom bearing is clanking and is its not loose I have to assume they are made of toffee.

Excellent quality and value for money

Great bike, easy to set up, it's got all the features of a much more expensive bike, feels really sturdy when riding fast, have used it quite a bit and can't fault it.

Good Value for money

The bike arrived earlier than expected. It appears to be solid and made of quality materials and was easy to put together.

I don't like the instrument panel as I find it hard to read and also the pedal cranks are completely straight and this causes me to hit my ankle bones.

Overall I am happy with the purchase and pleased that I can still do spinning during the latest Covid Lockdown

Just what the doctor ordered.

I need to strengthen the muscles in both my legs after an illness but not convenient to get to the gym on a regular basis, so I decided to buy a exercise bike and I am so happy with the results. Best item I have bought in ages.Read full review...

IC300 pro

Wobbly handlebars , would like to be able to adjust to vertical . Seat far too hard , needed to change to a better design seat . Computer OK but could do with backlight, some parts could could be improved . The bike itself is strongly built and it is quiet and smooth also strongly built.
