This is a great little invention. My hair is a curly/frizzy mess. It manages to straighten it, in about ten minutes. It doesn't get it as straight as GHD's, but it's a lot easier to use and worth the money. Its comfortable to hold/use, heats up quickly and hair survives the day once straightened.Read full review

Easy to use
My daughter uses this straightening brush. It does straighten her hair pretty well. Temperature control is limited to three settings, but it heats up really quickly. To get really straight hair, you'll have to use straightening tongs, but this brush will get frizz out and leave a little bounce in your hair.

Good idea, but limited on temperature control. Wouldn't recommend.
I bought this as an alternative to straighteners which singe my fine hair. When I read the write ups I thought there was a fairly broad range of temperature settings available between 150 and 185°. It heats up quickly to 150, but then there are only two further settings which come up, the first is 160° the other is 185° There are no incremental settings available and it won't go to the 165° setting recommended for fine hair. I checked with JML in case my brush was faulty but was told there are only the three settings, 150, 160 and 185. It's OK, but takes too long to straighten my hair at the lower temperatures and I'm nervous about using the high one. Not the range of controllable temperatures I thought I was buying. Will have to keep as it's not faulty, but if you need something with a more controllable temperature, I wouldn't recommend this. Very disappointed.Read full review

Good price for the two products and excellent service but, for reasons that I do not understand, this brush does not get as warm as the one I purchased originally elsewhere (even though it has exactly the same temperature controls), so it is not as effective.
I keep it as a spare for when I go on holiday etc and it is extremely useful for that as I can just leave it in my suitcase.Read full review

Wonderfully simple
This product is not what you think, it dose not flatten hair or burn the hair. It glides through your hair with ease and straightens it. So many people judge this and compare it it straightners..it's not. I have very thick curly hair and when hairdresser work with my hair they use the hottest setting to flatten and control it, this product works. No extreme heat, no frizz, no pulling and it's so easy to use. Without this product straightening my hair would take 45 minutes this dose it in 10 at the most. This is one of the best things I have ever used on my hair. I would recommend this if you want to save so money and have a great product.Read full review

Very handy hair styler
The JML straightening brush is a great alternative to traditional hair straighteners, and much kinder on the hair. You can achieve more body and style in the hair, as well as keeping the ends frizz free. I've only ever used it on dry hair, but I understand it can be used on towel dried hair.
