Perfect for dimmable LEDS

This was easy to fit and replaced the old dimmer in around 5 minutes. It took a few attempt to program it from the instructions but I managed to work it out, although I couldn't get them to dim right down but low enough for the hallway. I have 2 fittings with 3 x 4.5W dimmable LED's in each = 27W total load that have now replaced 168W total load so should save a few bob.Read full review...

Complete mystery

Bought this to replace 2 units neither of which could dim 0-100% a selection of 'dimmable' bulbs in a child's room (several quality brands). Result: this one wouldn't either, out of the box. The instructions are extensive enough to fly a 737MAX, with the printed words having an extra section on range-setting not found on the web version. After 10 minutes of double-clicking to reboot and adjust the thing, with ambiguous flashes, and not having a matching tungsten bulb to try the alternative method, I gave up and put an older unit back as it was no worse. Clearly this is' top-of-the-range' and has more cryptic options than one might ever need, but you've either got to be lucky or have an uninterrupted experimental period and notebook to get it to do the simplest thing (with LEDs, at least).Read full review...

JQP401W / JQP401A dimmer switch worked for me

Dims to a low setting without flickering, probably due to It being a minimum 0w unit for LED’s unlike the other useless ones I’ve tried, also unlike others it can be preset, although not essential it's a nice touch anyway. Wiring instructions didn’t include single live feed & load but figured that out without too much hassle.Read full review...

LED Dimmer 1 gang 2 way trailing edge.

This looks and feels of good quality,it works well, the intructions inside box are lengthy and complicated. Basics are that it works for LED and is suitable for dimmable ones and also can be used for halogens bulbs ( intructions show more details). it's worth getting and looks like it will last.Read full review...

Great for LED lights

This is a well-featured switch which is easy to program. The switch is truly silent, which is important for me. The only downside was that it still wasn't able to set the minimum quite as low as I wanted. Read full review...

Works perfectly. British made. 10 year guarantee.

Worked perfectly with the factory settings powering six Philips 4W GU10 CorePro LED spot lights. It was reassuring to know that there were plenty of options had the factory setting not worked with these particular lights. Excellent design and, according to the packaging, it is made in Britain and comes with a 10 year guarantee.Read full review...

Great Dimmer

Works well with a single Corby 15W warm white dimmable LED lamp. Initially in the default mode (Mode 1) the lamp did not dim as low as I would like but after reconfiguring the dimmer to Mode 3 using the instructions provided, the lamp can be dimmed to a very low level without any flickering and with no noise from the dimmer.Read full review...

So far, so good

Previous reviews had suggested problems with lights buzzing and with programming. So far I have had neither of these (after 6 days). Using Philips Luster LED bulbs, the dimmer works well. I had one strange moment when the lights suddenly started going on and off when they had just been switched on, but that stopped by going into programme mode and resetting it. It's a good value dimmer for these bulbs – as long as it continues to function normally!Read full review...

I like it.

' has a quality feel about it. The bullbs illuminate over about 1/2 second i.e.power is applied to them slowly w.r.t. an on/off switch, which is good for them. The dimmer copes well with 30 watts of (dimmable) LEDs which is a small load for this type of device. Read full review...

No more buzzing/strobing

Bought his to replace old style dimmer switch which never worked properly when I switched to LED bulbs. I use this with Luxna G10 7W dimmable LED bulbs x5 and works perfectly. No more buzzing or slight strobing and a really good dimmable range. Wish I had changed it out sooner!Read full review...
