In indispensable book for anyone around antique silver or gold. Superb.

The book has been most useful, given that I work voluntarily in a Jacobean manor house, and frequently need to refer to the book for information on silver and silverplate. it has proved particularly useful in tracing a couple of obscure makers marks, but the book hasn't let me down. A very good reference book. easy to follow and well laid out from early marks to the latest, including much more than just the UK.
