DEDICATED ROOF BARS FOR E-PACE

These dedicated roof cross bars for Jaguar E-Pace have locating pins in the clamps to line up with holes in the door frames, which adds to the security of the fitted bar. They are reasonably easy to fit and the only downsides are
i) That Jaguar doesn't fit "no gap" rails as standard when a Vauxhall Mokka does! You could then chose from several suppliers of cheaper roof bars.
ii) The pack only contains a piece of paper with a link to the Jaguar Accessories website, so you have to download and print the instructions yourself. That wouldn't be so bad but the formatting of the pdf is quite poor, with some sections going over a page unnecessarily.
iii) The rubber slot seal is quite hard to fit and the instructions for how long to cut it are inadequate - it is not clear whether the seal should overlap into the region covered by the clamp finisher. I cut the seal so it overlapped, as otherwise there was likely to be a gap at the end of the seal.
iv) I was concered that if the clamping surface moved at all it would fret and wear the paint off the door frame, so I covered the clamping surface with duct tape.Read full review...
