This is the best moisturizer for natural, untreated black hair. For all those afro, twist and locks enthusiasts, this will make your hair soft, shiny and strong. The scent is light so a couple of hours after application it will not compete with your perfume or cologne. I had used coconut oil for several years and then I discovered this product and although I have no complaints regarding coconut oil, I will never go back. Just be aware of the amount used and the length of time allotted for absorption when wearing light colored clothing, especially with collars. This will stain. It has a few other added oils within it that are very good. The odor isn't too bad either. It's thick and dark. I add it to my butter mixtures and mix it with other oils.
