simple to use
Zodiac leaf catcher is very efficient and performs its service very well. the catcher is very easy to open, compared to other units that I have used. the unit is a little more expensive than others that I have purchased. The big issue for other brands that I used, is the fact that they have been almost impossible to open. Great work Zodiac.Read full review

Doesn't seem to add much functionality
I was hoping that adding into the mix that I would see great results. Our problem is floating leaves and berries. From what I can see it doesn't address that and may just add another layer of complexity. For those that are phobic about removing and cleaning the skimmer box basket it may have some use.......Read full review

what a great item you can see it going to work trapping sand, leaf and other particles in the canister, 1 minuters to empty and refit very good item recommended for all pool owners with an automatic pool cleaner
downside required to by additional fitting for hose connection on inlet side,

Cyclonic leaf catcher
I found the zodiac leaf catcher is of sturdy build unlike the baracuda brand with has a thin clear plastic top.
In order to connect the leaf catcher on the vacuum side of the unit you need a male to male vaccum pipe or some other connecter.
I used a right angle rubber vaccum fitting from bunnings that I had spare and just squashed it in there.
When vaccuming, Iyou can see the leaves and debris swirling around and when it stops you know that the pump has stopped and you need to restart it again.
I did have a problem with coupling it with my automatic pool cleaner as I couldn't generate enough suction to move it around the pool so I reverted to my manual vaccum on a pole which worked fine
That being said, Im happy to recommend this leaf catcherRead full review

Good filter - connections may be tricky
Firstly, as a filter this works very well. Secondly, unless you have a Zodiac cleaner the hose connections could be tricky. I have a Hammerhead cleaner and ended up having to hot glue Zodiac connectors on to the vacuum pipes as neither adapter fitted this type of hose. I bought some other Zodiac and these didn’t fit either (the perils of buying on the web). Read full review

Great Product
It's excellent. Don't have to empty the skimmer basket anymore, just unlock canister and empty that.
Stops all the leaves and debris going into basket.

I’d recommend
Catching leaves before they get into the skimmer makes cleaning a breeze. Very happy, third one I’ve had. Would be good to get replacement valve at the bottom of the bowl as both my previous perished with age.
All in all quite expensive but worth it.Read full review

Zodiac cyclone leaf catcher
I’ve only just put it on today, but so far impressed.
It’s easy to clean and most of all, so easy to see if it’s full and in need of a clean.

Great unit,BUT does hang up on large bits of leaf/bark that the barracuda used to take in its stride. Even so, great unit, very happy.
