John Pearse Acoustic Guitar Strings
These are bright, like fresh rotosound bass strings but for acoustic guitars. I was impressed. I was using Elixirs for the longest time but their coating shredded like dust onto my guitar, and sounded dull, tried D'Addarios and my tone improved a little bit. Went with John Pearse and thought I was David Allen Coe. Try these, they resonate with harmonic sustain that you can feel in chest cavity, the way you feel when a helicopter is flying overhead. But this time, youre in control. Take the wheel daddy, you won't be let down by these.Read full review

John Pearse Phosphor Bronze Wound Light Gauge Acoustic Guitar Strings Model: #600L
I use John Pearse acoustic guitar strings exclusively and for good reason- they are the best sounding and playing strings period.
They also stay brighter and last longer than any other major brand I have tried.
For me- John Pearse strings are the best value for quality and tone.

"Excellent Strings, very bright tone"
I have tried many brands of guitar strings over the years, and usually use Martin on my acoustic, and D'Addario's on my Les Paul. This is the first time using Pearse strings. I cleaned and dressed my frets, installed an under the saddle pickup with an equalizer, a new bone saddle and nut, then the new Pearse strings. I couldn't be happier. The old early 70's Alvarez now sounds better than it ever has. I highly recommend any acoustic players that have not tried the Pearse strings, to do so.Read full review

JP Strings
I have played these strings exclusively for the last 20 years on all my hand made acoustic guitars. Best tone, best playability, best quality again and again. They are the preferred brand by most of my acoustic guitar associates playing professionally.Read full review

Quality, different and lasting
Bought these wanting something different than the usual Ernie Balls and Martins (good strings for sure). Priced a little higher, but the quality is there. I put these on my Ibanez Artwood 240 mahogany top guitar and love the tone I'm getting. Stay in tune very well, and seem to have a stronger feel and volume with them. The Ibanez came with "coated" strings which I dislike the feel of but with these, I can bend, hammer and pull with ease. Will buy again.Read full review

JP600L The best American made strings on the market
This is the only strings I recommend for Martin guitars, do not be fooled, by Martin that their strings are used by professionals, I own a HD28, I use JP 600L and often more than not get compliments of the sound coming out of my guitar. Read full review
