Its a bland horizontal shooter with good graphics. Sound and control are ok. Not really any music. Has power ups that are pretty cool. Which is odd for a shooter. But neither did Doom on the Jaguar.

Good port of an old-style/classic era arcade.

Joust for the 7800 is a good port, and plays well.
I wanted it to extend my 7800 library.
But ‘Joust’ have it limitations. If you loved the Arcade you’ll love this.

Joust for the Atari 7800

The game is a great version of the classic arcade game. The only real issue is that occasionally the American Atari 7800 controllers can be a bit clumsy playing this game but they are generally clumsy playing any game due to a lack of thought in design but if you like Joust and have a 7800 I would definitely say that this is a must have for your collectionRead full review...
