Must have this vital tool to repair!
I have a Capresso 1500 and during a recent move, it quit running. I purchased this required tool in order to remove the back panel from the machine. It worked like a gem. BUT....the service didn't stop there! When I saw the vast amount of tubes and machinery, I contacted the seller (Peter) and stated what system errors I was receiving and asked for his input. Peter proceeded to provide us with a step by step process to try and perform a diagnosis of the problem with possible solutions. He assured me together we would get to the problem and resolve knowing that if there was a failure in a part, he most likely could locate and provide a replacement for me. Following his troubleshooting directive, we were able to diagnosis and find a solution within 30 minutes without any additional parts required!!! He is amazing...not only for the part I purchased but for his willingness to assist in getting my Capresso back up and running. PLEASE contact Peter....for parts and for guidance. He is AMAZING!Read full review

Essential For Jura Owners
You might think that running cleaning pills through your fully-automatic Jura means you're looking after it well, but unfortunately that's not the case. Coffee grounds, and then mould, build up around the main mechanism where the cleaning process can't reach. Disappointingly, Jura make this part of the machine inaccessible even with an extended complement of electronic/electrical service tools... they want to generate income via their fixed fee service system.
I've previously used the "melted BIC pen" method to remove the special Jura screws. It was a struggle, however on opening the machine I realised that it was worth it. The machine was quite disgusting inside even straight after a cleaning cycle. The manual cleaning process is not exactly "easy", but it's not hard either. Take your time and watch the YouTubes that are around for the various machines.
Oh, and definitely have this tool before you start. It fits well and saves the frustration of trying to MacGuyver the special Jura screws out.
This tool saves on services, and allows you to keep your Jura in better, more hygienic, working order. 👍Read full review

This is a high quality tool.
Nesspresso decided to put specialized screws in its products to prevent customer self-service. If you need to get inside your machine you either need a specialized tool to remove and replace the screws or you would need to use some method of extraction that generally results in screw destruction and then replace the provided screws with standard screws. This tool is made in the USA and is built to high standards and made of high quality materials, it appears to be hardened steel similar to my Craftsman tools. There are some other, cheaper equivalents on the web where the reviews have complained of soft materials and a socket that does not fit the screw head. This is the tool to have for this endeavor. The fit was perfect and the repair quickly completed.Read full review

Highly recommendable
This item work as promised. I could dissansemble my Nespresso Essenza C101 without any trouble. My sole recommendation for properly use is when the screw is to tight it is better to insert the tool in a screw driver for easy handling.Read full review

Perfect little tool
Because I refill my coffee pod myself, a rubber seal inside my (old) nespresso machine had moved. With this little tool I got easy access to the inside to fix this. works like a charm and got shipped quickly.Read full review

Funky 'security' screw bit
The screws on my Jura Capresso are very odd. This bit fit them easily and I had them off quickly. Perhaps the hex shank would fit a real screwdriver, but I didn't bother. Now, to do a little cleaning inside.Read full review

The tool you need for your Nespresso with oval-head screws
I have a Krups Nespresso model 554. While most of the external screws are Phillips-head screws, there are five recessed screws with a flat, round-looking head. It turns out these are the oval-head screws that you hear of on many Nespresso repair sites. This is the exact tool you need to easily remove and re-insert those oval-head screws. I was able to make some simple internal repairs. Then i attached this to the back of the machine in the little ziploc bag it came in, so i can find it next time :-)Read full review

Works Great
I was quickly able to take apart my old nespresso machine and fix it. The tool works great, and being able to fit into my hex driver was a bonus that made things easier.

Finallly
Shame on those fiends at Jura charging $300 to open the back of the machine and change out 2 washers to stop the machine from leaking.
Maybe Jura will supply all the parts and service manuals to consumers ? Nah.
Level the field! But this tool!!Read full review

Good tool does exactly what it is supposed to do.
I thought the price was about 60% higher than it should have been but apparently it's a supply vs demand type of item. Came exactly as described and worked exactly as described.
