So much more than a Comedy Omnibus.

First of all it looks amazing. It feels solid and well made. The story goes that Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis got the gig and didn't wholeheartedly invest to much thought into creating this but suddenly realised after sales skyrocketed that they were onto a good thing. There is a lot of humour in this omnibus, but don't be fled. The writing is tight. Batman comes across as a control freak...as he should.. It doesn't have Marvel's excess...longwinded morality speeches... Those that know this run have often said this is one of the most pleasureable comic reading experienced they had. I can see why. Get it for your hubby for Xmas or for his birthday. Highly recommended. (No spoilers...you'll have to trust me)Read full review
