One of the best accounts of this battle

I am ex RN and have a great interest in modern naval history.I have read many books about Jutland and this is one of the best.Jutland was such a sprawling battle that it is often difficult to understand what was happening where,and where other participants were relative to others.This is compounded by the fact that most books contain only one or two large scale maps which are of little help.This book has charts covering practically every 10 minutes which makes things clear.Of course to have the German perspective is very illuminating.There are excellent drawings of all the major ships although there are no photographs.However I think that every possible photo of Jutland has already been published!!!Read full review...
