Nearly perfect OEM fit, great value, easy installation.
These have a nearly perfect OEM fit for my 2001 Vulcan Nomad FI. No modifications required, cables were the right length and the connectors fit perfectly into the main harness. I only needed to determine which wire corresponded to the original lights and I was in business. It helped to have the bike's wiring diagram and pictures of the OEM lights' connections in the headlight bucket to refer to during the replacement. If I manage to put another 135K miles on the bike, I'm sure these will still be going strong. They certainly look better than the kluge I had going with temporary repairs to keep the bike road-worthy. I highly recommend these, compared to OEM parts at twice the price!Read full review...

Some problems - but still ok - just ok
I ordered two of these. One was great. The other almost fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the threaded bolt on one of the pair was not properly seated and the base extended slightly beyond the the black rubber shoulder. There is now a slight gap between the mounting bracket and the base of the assembly.
The bolt was also installed at a slight angle from the centerline - mostly solved by forcing it toward the correct alignment. Lastly, there was a noticeable nick in the rubber which I left as is.
It would have been really nice to have had some indication as to the wiring diagram; negative ground, running light, and turn signal. Solved by testing, of course, but that should have been unnecessary.
Manufacturer - please take note. Details like this missing piece of information make an otherwise ok transaction, notable - in a bad way.
All in all, barely satisfactory and would have been returned if the other assembly hadn't been perfect. A simply matter of a lapse in sufficient QC, I imagine.
I still think this is worth the price and should be considered. However, do inspect whatever you buy in detail.

Excellent buy
Excellent, quality product. It is exact down to the little tip in the rubber part. I actually used it on a newer Kawasaki. Just cut off the old wires near the light and use the proprietary connector and splice it in. This costs less than half the cost of a new one from Kawasaki and looks exactly the same. Installing K&S Turn Signals
These are as good as or even better than the OEM. You will need to KEEP the stock nut and rubber nut cover as these will be needed to mount the turn signals. I found it much easier to cut, splice, solder and wrap the stock wires to the signal's wires than to trace the stock wires all the way back to their harness and use the new signals' male plug-ins. Sure, you can do that if you want to make this job a 6 hour job instead of maybe fifteen minutes per signal. Also, note that each new signal has a tiny male tab where it mounts to the bike. This tells you which signal goes left and which goes right. Pay attention to the included information about how to match the new signals' wires to your bike's stock wires. The colors may be different. I used the wiring diagram in the back of my shop manual to verify which wires were Ground, Running Light, and Turn Signal Light.Read full review...
