Has aged well!

You either like Soderburgh or you don't. If you do this is a treat, all his signature techniques are on display - the good and the indifferent.

The plotting is vague and meandering, but what makes this a fun watch are the amazing performances by all the leads. Slattery in particular, but McCormack, Smith, & Gould are all great. Even Carville & Matalin pull off their characters well.

What makes the series still relevant in today's political climate is the portrayal of D.C. politics as warring tribes and egos. A shame HBO didn't spring for another season.
